One of the most versatile swimmers in the class of 2019, Pitchfork Aquatics' Jarod Arroyo — who has given a verbal commitment to Arizona State coach Bob Bowman and the Sun Devils — will be competing this weekend at the 2017 Holiday Swim Festival in Tempe.
Typically our standards for "versatile" are a strong IMer who can swim a decent 200 freestyle and 100/200 of at least one other stroke. Arroyo takes versatility to the next level — this dude can legitimately swim everything. Check out his best times below:
All Short Course Yards
- 200 Free — 1:39.22
- 500 Free — 4:29.19
- 200 Back — 1:48.81
- 200 Breast — 2:03.47
- 200 Fly — 1:49.85
- 200 IM — 1:51.09
- 400 IM — 3:54.24
On top of that, Arroyo has also experienced success on the international stage. He represented Puerto Rico at the recent 2017 FINA World Junior Championships in Indianapolis and the 2016 FINA SC World Championships in Windsor, Canada.
Arroyo isn't the only stud who will be in action this weekend in Tempe. For the full scoop, check out the official psych sheet posted below.
