Coming on the heels of signing day Wednesday, the 2017 CEI Strategic Big Southern Classic will feature a handful of primetime swimmers who just signed their National Letters of Intent.

Top 5 DI Commits At Big Southern Classic

1.) Emma Muzzy | NC State

The Virginia Gators star is the blue-chip recruit of the Wolfpack's recruiting class, which is ranked No. 5 in country by FloSwimming. Muzzy is a 52/1:53 backstroker, 1:02/2:13 breaststroker, and 1:57/4:08 IMer. She can literally do it all. Muzzy is part of a Virginia Gators girls team that has taken down four National Age Group (NAG) records in the last year alone in the relays, so she will be prepared for the college atmosphere from day one.

2.) Olivia Carter | Georgia

The Efinity Aquatic Club product will be joining Jack Bauerle and the No. 2-ranked Bulldogs class down in Athens, GA. The 52/1:55 butterflier already has a Junior National title under her belt, claiming the Winter Junior Nationals East championship in the 200 fly where she went her best time. She is also a 1:57 200 IMer and will be in a head-to-head dual this weekend with Muzzy.

3.) Keith Myburgh | Virginia Tech

Myburgh is a versatile IMer and breaststroker who will be taking his talents to Virginia Tech in the fall of 2018. The Virginia Gator is a 1:48/3:45 IMer and 54/1:58 breaststroker who will make an impact day one in Blacksburg, VA. His 3:45 in the 400 IM would have placed him top six at ACC's in 2017 and would have been on the cusp of qualifying for NCAAs.

4.) Khalil Fonder | Arizona State

Fonder — who has been committed to the Sun Devils since May — will be joining Bob Bowman and Arizona State's No. 3-ranked class. The sprinter has already been 20 point/44 in the freestyles and 47/48 in the 100 fly and 100 back, respectively. He will be joining fellow studs Cody Bybee and Noah Henry in Tempe as Bowman continues to work his magic. Fonder will have some stiff competition this weekend in Cary, though as the Wolfpack Elite squad featuring Cullen Jones and Simonas Bilis are scheduled to come to town.

5.) Ana Pozder | Missouri

The home club TAC Titans have a star in Pozder. The distance specialist has already dropped 1:48/4:46/9:49/16:23 in the freestyle events. Coach Greg Rhodenbaugh will love that range once she gets to Columbia, MO. Pozder is the odds-on favorite in the 500 this weekend — owning the top seed by over seven seconds, but she will have to compete with 16-year-old Caroline Kulp of Virginia Gators in the 1000. Kulp is seeded about two seconds ahead of Pozder in 9:47.
