Technique Changes Led To Molly Hannis' 29.71 50m Breast (VIDEO)
Molly Hannis has been on fire over the last few months. At the 2017 Tennessee Invite in November, she uncorked a 56.64 in the 100-yard breast — the second-fastest performance ever. Only Lilly King has been faster (56.30).
Hannis kept that momentum rolling into the 2018 long course season with a 29.71 in the 50m breast at the TYR Pro Swim Series in Austin, Texas, on Jan. 13. That makes Hannis the fourth-fastest performer of all time — only behind King (29.40), Ruta Meilutyte (29.48), and Yulia Efimova (29.52).
After the race, Hannis talked about the minor technique changes she made in training that led to major results.
