(WATCH) Blake Pieroni Uncorks Nation-Leading 1:32.33 200 Free
Check out the race video of Indiana's Blake Pieroni throwing down a 1:32.33 in the 200 freestyle at the 2017 Purdue Invite. Pieroni's time snuck under the NCAA Automatic qualifying time (1:32.54) and was the fastest time in the country this year.
If you notice in the splits below, Pieroni went for it and trailed off quite a bit. That back half will come around with more rest and he will no doubt get back into the 1:30 range -- competing with Townley Haas (Texas) and Dylan Carter (USC) to become the first man under 1:30.
