Tasija Karosas Looks To NCAAs & Talks Post Swimming Career

Tasija Karosas, senior captain for Carol Capitani and the Texas Longhorns, talked with FloSwimming after Texas' dual meet victory over Arizona Friday night in Austin.
The backstroke specialist has already thrown down two NCAA A-cuts this season in the 100 (50.86) and 200 (1:51.65) events. She will look to be a major player for the Longhorns at NCAAs, but will not have an easy road in those races. Cal's Amy Bilquist and Stanford's Ally Howe have also dipped under the 51 second barrier this season in the 100 backstroke and Kentucky's Danielle Galyer returns for her senior season to defend her title in the 200 backstroke.
