Louisville's Carlos Claverie Reflects Upon Rio, Looks to ACCs

Carlos Claverie, 2016 Venezuelan Olympian and University of Louisville junior, spoke with FloSwimming after the Cardinals' Senior Day on Friday about the meet, what he learned from Rio, and the team's outlook going into ACCs and NCAAs.
Claverie threw down a 2:11.56 in the semifinals of the men's 200m breaststroke in Rio to finish 15th. At the 2016 NCAA Championships, he racked up some serious points for the Cards by finishing 4th in the 100 breaststroke with a 51.97 and 6th in the 200 breaststroke with a 1:53.55. Claverie was a major player on Louisville's medley relays as well.
