Breeja Larson - Night 3 Arena Pro Swim Austin
AUSTIN, Texas -- In a bit of redemption from her second-place finish in the 200 breaststroke earlier in the Arena Pro Swim Series at Austin, Breeja Larson took home the victory in the 100 breaststroke on Sunday with a time of 1:07.17.
Larson mentioned she had been trying a lot of different things lately, but attributed her move to Tempe, Arizona, to train with Phoenix Swim Club as a major key to her success. Of note, Larson's time of 1:07.17 was faster than the 1:07.53 she swam for fourth place in Omaha, Nebraska, at the 2016 Olympic Trials. If she is swimming this fast in January, be on the lookout for her to make a push for the 2017 World Championship team this summer.
