Jacob Pebley - Night 2 Arena Pro Swim Austin
Coming off a dominating victory in the 200 backstroke with a 1:55.95, Jacob Pebley is firing shots across the pool deck. Pebley wants Matt Grevers to know he is coming for him in the 100 backstroke on Sunday.
Pebley has every right to feel confident. To put in perspective, his time tonight was only 4 tenths of a second slower than his 5th place finish at the 2016 Rio Olympics. Whatever Pebley and the Cal Bears were doing in Colorado Springs at the Olympic Training Center these past few weeks is clearly paying dividends.
