On Feb. 9, 2017, Abbey Cornelius was diagnosed with stage 2 non-Hodgkin's lymphoma.

She recently got the chance to fulfill her lifelong dream of swimming at the Olympic Training Center in Colorado Springs, CO, and meeting Katie Ledecky.

All she wanted to do was swim and be in the pool, meet Katie Ledecky, and come to the Olympic Training Center - Jennifer Cornelius, Abbey's mother
