Results and highlights from day one prelims at the 2017 LEN European Short Course Swimming Championships in Copenhagen, Denmark.
Day one of the 2017 LEN European Short Course Championships kicked off Wednesday morning at the Royal Arena in Copenhagen, Denmark.
Events on the docket included the men's 100m butterfly, women's 50m breaststroke, men's 50m breaststroke, women's 400m IM, men's 400m freestyle, women's 100m backstroke, men's 200m backstroke, and men's 4x50m freestyle relay.
Of note, Spanish swimmer Mireia Belmonte Garcia — world-record holder in the 400m IM — was absent from this morning's prelims session.
