Day two prelims of the 2017 Texas Invite in Austin, Texas, on Thursday featured the 500 freestyle, 200 IM, and 50 free. While known as a college meet, plenty of prominent postgrads were in the mix Thursday morning including Clark Smith, Jack Conger, Madisyn Cox, Matt Grevers, and Leah Smith.

We saw big swims in prelims from Clark Smith in the 500 free (4:14.40), Madisyn Cox in the 200 IM (1:54.61), and Joe Schooling in the 50 free (19.33).

Teams competing include Texas, Arizona, Arizona State (men only), USC, Stanford (men only), Wisconsin, UCLA (women only), Harvard, TCU, Rutgers (women only), Northern Arizona (women only), BYU, and Oklahoma Baptist (men only).
