What else can be said about Katie Ledecky?

The Stanford sophomore continues to dabble in the 400 IM — breaking the four-minute barrier for the second time since February. Ledecky's time of 3:59.69 is the fastest time in the country this year ahead of her Cardinal teammates Ella Eastin (4:00.02) and Brooke Forde (4:02.02).

The G.O.A.T casually broke the American record at the 2017 Pac-12 Championships (3:57.68) but decided to forgo swimming it at NCAAs in favor of the 200 freestyle. Eastin, who owned the record prior to Ledecky, would end up taking it back at NCAAs with a time of 3:57.57.

While Ledecky has dabbled in this event — both short course and long course — she has been on the record before stating it is primarily for training purposes.

Don't expect her to swim this at NCAAs this season, but if she did Stanford could legitimately go 1-2-3.
