The No. 12 Tennessee women's and No. 15 men's teams swept No. 11/13 Louisville in a non-conference clash at Ralph Wright Natatorium in Louisville, KY, on Thursday afternoon. This has became an annual brawl for the two teams in bordering states.

As expected, the stars showed up. On the women's side, the host Cardinals' Mallory Comerford laid down a strong 48.5 and 1:45.6 in the 100 and 200 free, respectively. For the Volunteers, Erika Brown continued her hot streak with a quick 100 and 200 fly.

On the men's side, the top performances were spread across the board on both teams. Louisville distance ace Marcelo Acosta has stayed steady around the nine-minute barrier this season in the 1,000 and his 9:05 performance on Thursday was no different. Tennessee's Peter Stevens also showed off his sprint breaststroke muscles with a blazing 23.5 relay split and 53 in the 100.
