Likely with a sour taste in his mouth from an eighth-place finish in the 200m IM on Thursday night (2:07.27 -- eight seconds off his best), Michael Andrew came out guns blazing Friday morning in prelims of the 50m backstroke and 50m freestyle.

First up, Andrew dropped a blistering-fast 24.63 in the 50m back -- a new world junior record and top seed by over 0.8 of a second. Great, right? He wasn't finished just yet, though. He followed up that performance with a 21.75 in the 50m free -- also a new world junior record and top seed by 0.6 of a second.

His 50m back ranks him eighth in the world this year, and his 50m free ranks him 11th. Not too shabby.

But where do those performances stack up compared to some of the other major meets this summer?
