Men's 400m Freestyle -- A-Final
1.) Park Tae-Hwan (KOR): 3:44.38
2.) Felix Auboeck (CW-MI): 3:50.39
3.) Patrick Callan (PAC-OK): 3:51.66

Park Tae-Hwan ran away with this race from the get go. The South Korean superstar built a solid three second lead at the 200m mark (1:51.07) and never looked back. The most impressive part? Park's closing speed. Throughout the race, he was splitting 28 mids and 28 highs pretty consistently -- but he went into a completely different gear over the final 50 meters, dropping a swift 26.27 to easily pick up a FINA 'A' qualifying time standard and post the fourth-fastest time in the world this year. Felix Auboeck snagged the silver in 3:50.39 and Patrick Callan rounded out the podium in third with a 3:51.66
