United States swimming star, Missy Franklin, has undergone double shoulder surgery and will be out of competition for the time being. After what was seen by many as a disappointing Olympic run in 2016 Franklin was looking forward to a quick return to intense training. However, just now Franklin posted a message on her Instagram in regards to her surgery and ensuing comeback.
